Fallback Solution – Modified Customer Interface
Macro Global team helped the client to overcome their challenges in deploying the Modified Customer Interface (MCI) solution and meet the Open Banking RTS requirements.
Financial institutions (ASPSP) that enable payment account services must build at least one interface for identification and safe communication with third-party providers, according to Open Banking legislation (TPPs). ASPSPs can choose to provide a dedicated channel or a Modified Customer Interface based on Application Programming Interface standards (APIs) (MCI).
In this case study, we will look at how Macro Global assisted a financial institution in developing a Modified Client Interface solution that allows third-party providers to access customer online payment accounts via the Internet Banking channel in accordance with Open Banking Regulations.
