AS400 Developer
Skillset: RPG/400, RPGLE and CL
We require an As400/RPG/CL Programmer who can work for a fast-growing global business environment that demands high level product delivery.
You will responsible for the development, maintenance and support of company’s software applications (mostly written in RPG on the AS/400). We want someone highly professional who can understand complex requirements and over-deliver with great time management skill, attention to detail and Multitasking with job prioritising abilities.
What Key Skill set we are looking for?
- Solid experience of coding in RPG/400, RPGLE and CL.
- Become familiar with our development methods and systems.
- Participate in the full project life cycle: elicit requirements, assess feasibility, design, write code, test, implement and support ultimately take ownership of complex systems.
- Ensure the customer’s implemented RPG/CL systems continue to work without any major issues and ensure smooth running of the business.
- Assist other teams to understand and migrate RPG/CL program to windows platform.
What key qualities will help you to stand out?
- Logical mind and solid aptitude for programming are essential.
- Should be able to Collaborate with the senior management team including internal and external technical teams to ensure effective delivery of their requirements.
- Exceptional written & communication skills.
- Proven experience iterating design solutions with wireframes and mock-ups.
